The best homemade almond milk recipe. So easy and made with only 2 ingredients. It tastes so much better than store-bought and is much healthier without any gums, preservatives or nasty ingredients. Customize your almond milk and boost the flavor with optional add-ins!

- 1 cup almonds, soaked in water overnight
- 4 cups filtered water
Optional
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon of sweetener like maple syrup or honey
- 2 tablespoons of cacao
- 1 pitted date
- 2 cups of fresh fruit (strawberries work great!)
Instructions
- Drain the soaked almonds and rinse them well. Discard the soaking water.
- Add the almonds into your high-speed blender, along with four cups of water.
- Blend on high for 2 minutes.
- Strain the almond milk through a nut milk bag into a large bowl or measuring cup.
- If adding optional add-ins: Pour the almond milk back into the blender and add the desired add-ins. Blend for another minute, until combined.
- Pour the almond milk into an air-tight container and store in the fridge.
