This grilled Greek chicken salad is a regular on my meal plan rotation, and for good reason.
The Mediterranean flavors are so light and fresh. Plus, it’s topped with perfectly grilled chicken and a tangy homemade Greek dressing. It’s everything a Greek salad should be!
Grilled Greek Chicken Salad Ingredients
- Greek Dressing – Olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, fresh garlic, mustard, and oregano combine to create one of my all-time favorite dressing recipes!
- Grilled Greek Chicken – Chicken breasts are seasoned with a combination of garlic powder, onion powder, ground turmeric, and dried oregano, then grilled to perfection.
- Mixed Greens – I prefer a combo of mixed greens in this Greek salad recipe, but you can use any leafy greens you have on hand.
- Tomato – Any tomatoes will do the trick in this recipe. Cherry or heirloom are my favorite varieties.
- Cucumber – Provide a fresh crunch in this salad.
- Red Onion – Adds some tang and texture.
- Kalamata Olives – A Greek salad needs olives, in my opinion! They also provide a healthy fat to make this a balanced meal.
- Pepperoncinis – Provide a little bit of heat. Feel free to omit these if you prefer.
How to Make Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken

Grilled Greek chicken salad is loaded with Mediterranean flavors and perfectly grilled chicken. Prep the chicken and dressing in advance for easy meals during the week.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon or spicy brown mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Grilled Greek Chicken Salad
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 6 cups mixed greens
- 1 cup tomato, diced
- 1 cup cucumber, diced
- 1/2 small red onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup Kalamata olives
- 1/4 cup Pepperoncinis, sliced
Instructions
- Add dressing ingredients to a mason jar and shake well to combine.
- Drizzle the chicken with avocado oil and season with salt and pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, turmeric, and dried oregano.
- Preheat grill to medium heat. Add chicken to grill and cook, flipping occasionally, until the chicken is cooked completely through. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F.
- Assemble the salad by adding remaining ingredients to a salad bowl. Toss with the Greek dressing and top with grilled chicken.
